Silicone-free, high-efficiency polymer defoamer designed for solvent-based, solvent-free, and radiation-curable coating and printing ink systems.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Recommended storage temperature: 5–30°C. Shelf life is generally not less than 18 months when stored properly.

PERFORMANCE
ANJEKA-5057 is highly compatible with unsaturated polyester resins, acrylic/vinyl acetate copolymers, epoxy systems, and solvent-free polyesters. It provides excellent defoaming and deaeration properties while also functioning as a leveling agent. The additive effectively suppresses foam generation during production, dispersion, and application processes. It offers rapid bubble-breaking action, excellent long-term stability, and minimal impact on interlayer adhesion or recoatability. Additionally, it helps reduce surface defects such as craters and orange peel.
RECOMMENDED LEVELS
0.05–1.0% based on total formulation (as supplied).
The values above are empirical; optimal dosage should be determined through laboratory testing for specific systems.
INCORPORATION AND PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS
For best results, incorporate the defoamer into the mill base before the grinding stage. Post-addition is possible but requires high shear forces to ensure uniform distribution and prevent defects like cratering or shrinkage.
